  1. First things first, we'll meet you for a detailed consultation to understand your needs and expectations.

  2. From there, we'll start sourcing for the helpers based on your requirements.

  3. After understanding your requirements, we will start the activation of sourcing from our end. Mainly to 3 parts:

    First part: Qualifying of candidates that wish to apply under your employment base on your requirements. This is the part where most of the candidate are filtered.

    The second part: Qualifying base on their employment history, personal background, family & spouse details (health & financial), Health conditions and even Singapore employment history. Here’s where candidates are drop due to complicated & unstable background.

    The last part: Qualifying towards their characters & attitudes to see if they are fit to be employ as a foreign domestic worker under Tailormaid. Candidates that are arrogant, unreceptive, stubborn basically towards the unpleasant characters or behaviours will not meet the bar.

  4. We will then proceed to propose the potential Tailormaid® (comes down to the best fit/match to your requirements) to you with their Bio-data/Proposal. Each proposal is explicit, provided with context to aid your decision making. It will be brutally honest even if it means jeopardising their chance of employment. We believes, transparency, best policy.

  5. We'll then arrange an interview with the candidates who you deemed potentials. And infact, we insist your family membeers to joined into the interview too! The purpose is for both parties to understand each other better and see if there's a "connection".

  6. Once you've decided to engage the candidate, we'll take care of all the mandatory compliance documentation.

In short, our helpers are matched to you base on YOUR requirements and YOUR needs with no loan or upfront fees and that’s what Tailormaid Services is, and that’s who we are!

The process may feel daunting, but you have our word that we'll guide from start to end. Here's an overview:

  1. Get your Employer Orientation Programme (EOP) completed.
  2. Arranged with us your consultation.
  3. Proceed to source for your helper base on your requirements.
  4. Interviews with the potential candidates.
  5. And once you are sure and selected your Tailormaid®, all you needed to do is just sit back, relax and wait for the arrival of your helper.

Despite what many believe, where the foreign domestic worker comes from do not necessarily dictate their capabilities.

Here, we take on the responsibility to provide them with not just the necessary but also the right kind of training. And also ensuring that the needs and expectations of both parties are aligned—which most agencies neglect or overpromise.

Nevertheless, cultural differences and the general understanding of Singapore play a part too. That said, we make it a point to teach them with local context.

We understand some days there are several chores to be done. However, as an employer, you are responsible for the health and well-being of your FDW.

We strongly believe in interviews before hires. Why? Well, chemistry and the alignment of expectations play a huge role in finding the right match.

Unfortunately, we do not provide trial periods. It is against the guidelines set by MOM. You can be assured, however, that our hiring process is stringent, dedicated and personalised. We are confident in helping you find the domestic worker of your dream.

Our boarding house charges is at $30/day and it consist of ingredient for 3 essential meals(they are allow to cook themselves), games console usage, sewing machine, karaoke, treadmill & stationary bike, full equip Kitchen usage, unlimited WIFI + computer usage, and also aircon during nigh time but of course at a limit duration.

Pre-employment medical examination

The medical examination checks for 4 types of infectious disease: Tuberculosis, HIV, Syphilis and Malaria. However, if you have concerns about her health, you may send her for more comprehensive tests.

Important note: the FDW must have her medical check-up done by a Singapore registered doctor within 2 weeks of her arrival. Her work permit will only be issued if she passes the medical examination. Otherwise, she will be repatriated.
